Br. Mitch Andrla
Pastor
Br. Mitch Andrla was led to the Lord and baptized by former pastor of Bridgeport MBC, John C. Moses, Sr. in 1982 at the age of 18; where he has remained as an active member, serving in various capacities, for the past 37 years.
He married his beautiful wife, Carolyn Mason in March of 1985 and they settled in as residents of South Wichita, where they have remained for the past 34 years.
He began serving the Lord in the capacity of Deacon in December of 1986. After almost 10 years of fulfillment in this position, he surrendered to the call to preach, was ordained as preacher and was voted in as Pastor in January 1995 after the passing of his cherished pastor, friend and mentor who had led him to the Lord 13 years before. He has held this position for the past 24 years, leading and helping in the growth of the Lord's church.
Br. Mitch has a boisterous spirit to his preaching style and a passion for teaching bible doctrine, so much so that he is actively called upon to participate throughout our associated work as evangelist and guest speaker. He also recognizes the importance of taking care of those at home and offers himself up as a mentor and friend in an effort to teach the younger generations to rise up for the Lord. And, most importantly, he has been given the privilege to see hundreds of people accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.
Br. Mitch loves the Lord, loves the Church and believes Bridgeport to be his home. This is evident in his life motto, which is taken directly from scripture: Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. – Ephesians 3:21
